I recently installed with Sony head unit using RCA cables. I have power, good ground and solid connections. After using for a few minutes, the speaker's bass will decrease to almost nothing and it will only play mid levels through the speaker or it will shut off all together. This happens at random. Sometimes I can drive for 45 minutes without a problem, other times I can drive for 10 minutes and it will go out. Other times it will go out when I try to increase the bass on the remote control. What could be the issue?

Which harness would I need to connect this sub to a factory 2018 Silverado radio?

The unit uses a regular RCA cable

Does this stay on all the time unless the power is switched? What size power wire should be used?

Once the unit is switched on it uses an audio sense to fully turn on the subwoofer If no music is sensed it will automatically turn off

Will this work under the seat of a 2020 Toyota Tacoma?
