I'm having trouble using blue tooth. I set the receiver to USB/SD/FM/Wireless and select BluTooth in MODE but my phone doesn't see the unit. What am I doing wrong?

If the mode is set to Bluetooth. It should be detectable by your mobile device.

I have the PPRE70BT. Because it doesn't amplify, can I run my turntable into a phone amp, then to this unit and then to a non phono port on my receiver?

This unit does not have a Phono input but you can use a PHONO Preamp and an amplifier is require for this or an active speaker

Is there an app for my android phone? I have established a blue-tooth connection but there is no mention of an app to control functionality of the unit. How do you set a channel number to a specific radio station? How do you select a specific song on a thumb drive or SD card?

Once you have done that, press the mode button to select FM, and then you can press the play pause button to scan all radio stations. Once you have done scanning you can now search using the NEXT and PREVIOUS buttons to locate the station you want to listen to but you can not assign your favorite station

The PPRE70BT Has 2 Pairs of RCA output jacks and 1 pair of XLR outputs. choose any of the 2 Pair of the RCA outputs and hook it up to the Audio IN of the Rockville REQ20 then Audio OUT(Play) of the Rockville REQ20 to the Input of the Amplifier receiver.

How do I get it to play radio

Make sure that there is an antenna connected at the back of the unit then press the mode button and look for FM Radio. Press the Play pause button to scan stations and the previous and next button to search for station

Is there a way to set the default input to FM? I would like it to play radio when turned on instead of having to select mode.

The default mode is fixed. There is no option to set FM as the default mode.

If using the SD card or a USB Memory Stick, will this unit Shuffle/Randomly play ALL the music in ALL the folders?

I am having trouble selecting radio stations. It just scans through them all and I can’t get it to land on a station. Is there a way to select a station without it trying to scan? And is there a way to preset stations on the remote?

Once you have already scanned all the stations what you need to do to search stations is to use the next button and previous button. this will allow you to search station per station

Will this work as a phono pre amp? I see the ground connection, but if the RCA inputs are only line level, then it will not work with a high end player.

The PPRE70BT does not come with a phono preamp. If planning to use a turntable, you must use the one with a builtin preamp or you need to use an external Phono preamp.

Does the unit work with BT wireless speakers

NO they are both Bluetooth receivers only

It’s saying that it’s connected to a BT device but I don’t have any hooked up to it. Is there anyway to forget devices to connect to another?

Turn off power for 5 minutes or switch to a different mode for 5 minutes then try to pair again

I purchased a Pyle PTA62BT Home Audio Amplifier to provide stereo music sound in 6 different rooms/areas. I do not have a source receiver with preamp outputs. (I have a Sony Surround Receiver but not preamp output jacks). Will the Pyle PPRE70BT Preamplifier Receiver be a good solution for this system?

PTA62BT actually has a preamp. Given that it has an AUX inputs and microphone inputs plus a BASS & TREBLE control. 

However, if you wish to still use the PPRE70BT for further sound enhancement. You may do so.

I am assuming when it says the unit is 19 inches wide that is with the mounting brackets on it. What is the dimensions of the box itself if I want to mount it on a shelf without the mounting brackets?

19" is the width of the unit without the ears

I'd like to know what the rated power output is in dBu or volts RMS that will be fed to the power amplifier.

I recently purchased this item to drive a Hafler 9180 amplifier. The volume is so low as to be unusable. I connected an Ipod to the Aux. inputs and this thing just doesn't put out. Any suggestions?

I just bought this and it does not have speaker cable pins to wire to my existing speakers. I do not have another amplifier. Do I need one? This was misleading on Wayfair. Thought it was an amplifier and Bluetooth receiver in one. My speakers just connect with wire. No jacks.

How does the recording mode work? I can play existing MP3 files fine, but the record function does not appear to function. Can it record from the tuner or only from a external input on one of the RCA inputs? Where are the mono subwoofer outputs talked about on the feature list? They don't appear to exist.
