hi. just bought the psbt85a and though it is great when i power it on a 'power on' announcement is heard and it is really loud with no apparent way to reduce the volume. mic vol/echo/volume knobs are all turned down. is there a fix for this??

The voice prompt has a fixed volume level. there is no option to turn it down

I think the inside battery is dead, can it be purchased separately and replaced? If so, can you provide part number or direct link to purchase?

Nice sound - but is there a way to either mute/reduce/eliminate the woman's "monitor" voice that announces when a track is changed. If not, it'll be returned.

We own a PSBT85A and unfortunately it was left on and the battery now needs recharging. I can't find the cord that was provided and would like information on the correct cord and procedure to recharge the battery from a regular AC outlet. Is it correct that one end of the cord to charge the battery would go into #14, the Power input?

I own 2 of these speakers. Can these be somehow connected together via blutooth so I can play them both at once from my phone?

There is no option to connect them both together. but you can try to open both speakers and see if the phone can pair on both speakers at the same time.

The initial charge will be 4 to 8 hours. 1 to 2 hours of use

it is very difficult to use the microphone. when I hold it 4cm from my mouth, it is ok. but if I move it 1cm closer or farther away, my voice gets too loud, or it does not pick up my voice at all. Does the speaker work with other UHF microphones? What UHF frequency does it use?

When charging the speaker how will I know when it is fully charge to take off and not kill the battery.

If Charge light is flashing it is still charging. If it go's steady or changed color it is fully charged

No. The unit only works 1 device at a time.

I purchased the PSBT85A. The mic works very well, but I can not get the speaker to play via Bluetooth. It says it is paired, the phone shows it is paired, but there is no sound. I have checked the volume on both the phone and the speaker and there is still no sound. How do I make it work?

It looks like there is an issue with the Bluetooth receiver. please check your warranty options
