    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    Ask a Question
    • I want to play cds on my ceiling sound system. I have the pspvc4 all hooked up. Just don't know what to turn on when a cd is put on.

You need an amplifier to run the PSPVC4

    • What is the function of the a/b inputs? Aren't those the same signal, as they both would be coming from my amp?

A Channel is Different from B channel. you can use two different amplifier

    • I can’t get enough volume to come thru my speakers. When I turn up my amp it shuts down in protection mode. My receiver is a Sony STR-DNR850

The impedance may not be a match that is why it goes to protect

    • cannot get speakers to come on. I pushed in the All speakers button. For each speaker, I have tried pushing in A and they do not work, have tried pushing in B and they do not work. I am totally confused. I had an audio guy here and they worked but now I can't get them to work again.

Make sure you are getting audio from your amplifier receiver to your PSPVC4

    • How do I choose between the PSLSW4 and the PSPVC4?

The only difference between the two is the Speaker terminal. You can choose which is more convenient for you

    • I have a ROTEL AMPLIFIER connected to a device which in turn is connected to speakers in three different rooms the volume is controlled by the volume knob on the amplifier therefore I can't Control the volume of the speakers separately. Will this device allow me to set the volume for the speakers in each room separately as the environment in each room may vary

The PSPVC4 has an individual volume control on each zone. You just need to set a standard volume level on the receiver

    • My pspcv4 that I've had for years stopped working. I can bypass it and get sound out of the speakers but it will not play through the unit. Any suggestions?

Check if the switches are properly set to A or B and if the volume controls are lifted. check the speaker terminals if they are plugged in properly.

    • PYLE: PSPCV4 Please could you advise me? I am able to purchase this unit in the UK. I am running two pairs of speakers in an awkward shaped 'L' shaped room from a Technics cd and amp. I would very much like to control the volume of these four (8ohm) speakers individually and not as pairs. Maybe I could connect just one speaker to each of the outputs? Any help and advice you could offer would be most appreciated. Kind regards, Peter.

      This is possible.

Connect your amp Left & Right speaker out the Amp A Input of the PSPVC4

      From the Output of the
      PSPVC4 A, B, C, D

On the A Channel attach speaker to the Left channel

On the B Channel attach speaker to the Right channel

On the C Channel attach speaker to the Left channel

On the D Channel attach speaker to the Right channel

This way you can control each speaker separately
