We only have 2 Cassette deck models and they have the same mechanism. the only difference is that the PT659DU can be connected to the computer and convert analog music to Digital mp3

Why isn't the turntable or computer being recorded on the cassette? I have plugged in the output to my phone, computer, and turntable and then into the rec in of the cassette deck and none of them worked. The digital meter says there is sound coming in but will not record on the cassette.

When you engage the Record mode, please check the Record level knob and adjust the input level. Also, check the RCA cable is properly connected to the  Record IN

Yes, you would need an amplifier receiver and some speakers

How can I record from a source other than the play deck (such as a turntable or CD player)?

Simply plug in the output of the Turntable/CD DVD to the REC IN of the Cassette Deck

For the voltage. the unit has a selectable voltage at the back. Make sure to select 220 volts if that is what your country's standard.

I recently purchased this product back in January. And now as of recently, my tapes dragged every time I play them!

Try doing a full fast forward then a full rewind  and start to play again

How do you record a cassette from another cassette.?I put a cassette with music on it on the left cassette, player, a blank cassette in the right cassette player. I played the cassette on the left and hit the red record button along with the adjacent play button. I could not record.

You were right on the Cassette placement. engage the pause button on both decks then press Play on Deck A and press REC/Play on Deck B.

Once you are on the recording state. You can now release the Pause button simultaniously on both decks. Also check you level meter readout

I have a Pyle Dual cassette deck model # PT-659DU and I need to adjust the motor speed. Could you please advise what to do? I tried to adjust the speed in the back of the motor with a small flat head screw driver but I did not notice any screw back there?. ( the side that I need to adjust is the "B" side.) There are no instructional guide in terms of internal parts. You can send it in for repair

I want to match a Pyle PT649D with a good Pyle receiver/ amp and add a Phonograph on top with a Pyle good set speakers Like and old stereo system. Any ideal on which receiver and speakers. Thanks Jerry

I am interested in continuous play and am not sure how to do this. Can the deck automatically play the second tape when the first tape is complete and then play the reverse of the first tape when the second tape is complete and then repeat indefinitely?

The function of the unit is to dub and record from Tape A to tape B.

The unit PT649D doesn't have that function to play one cassette and the other one on CD.
