I have just bought a PVTC320U unit online, via Amazon, and the manual inside indicates that the output is only 300W - not 500W. Yet both the manual and the online description indicate that this unit is a: Step Up and Step Down Transformer - Power Supply Voltage Converter with USB Charge Port (500 Watt) My question is what is the true output capability? 300W or 500W? How do I apply the adapter to plug in while in France? The plug in to the transformer has three prongs ; I must apply adapter to plug, but don’t know how to apply the adapter to power cord of my model PVTC320U. Please advise

The adapter is dessigned to fit the 3 prong AC cord just check the proper orientation and insert the plug to the adapter

We bought this an year ago. We were using it for 220V output, and the product was working well so far until yesterday it stopped. It seemed the fuse went bad. We changed the fuse and it also went bad within the next use. 2 fuses changed and same result - went off in just one use. What could have gone wrong?
