I'm having trouble folding the sides for storage. Any suggestions?

I just tried this sauna for the first time. And after about 10-15 minutes the unit on the back started beeping. Why? The sauna hadn't reached its max heat yet.
The beeping sound indicates that the unit has reached the set temperature and time, and will automatically turn off. You can press any button on the front panel or the remote control to stop the beeping and resume the sauna function.

Can the external surrounding part of the unit be washed in a washing machine? Not any of the wiring components but the external shell?
It is not recommended to wash it in a washing machine, as this may damage the fabric or the infrared materials inside.
