The orange rubber protector is to protect the microphone from rolling. Charge the mic for 2 to 3 hours

This unit only comes in package only. There is no separate receiver that can be purchased.

Can you use two of these microphones to two jacks in the same unit, like the PDA4BU?
I would say no. The frequency of the microphone might have interference with each other
