gauge wire in harness is very flimsy. is there another upgraded wiring harness for my boat?

it is the only harness and there are no upgrades

The PLCD43BTM is nice looking, has all the functions desired and appears to be well made. I installed in my boat, yesterday. I have tested the wired in module plug-in and know I show 12 VDC on the yellow wire and black wire! However, I cannot seem to get the unit to turn on, light up? I press the MOD button, I hold the MOD button, and then press the MOD button. I also try the remote on button (plastic battery protector pulled) but nothing lights up, no actions or no sound. Please advise.

Connect the RED Wire to ACC +12volts

Yellow Wire to constant +12volts
Black to Ground

Can I purchase just a remote. I lost mine.

Hook up the new radio and it works great except the CD player is not working?? We put a cd in and it started to play and then stopped. We tried another one and nothing. We hear it spinning but no sound. Can you help us please?

I am at a loss, I am not getting any audio, even though I have power and it is playing a CD. I have a set of PLMRF65SW speakers hooked up as passive but there is NO audio. I have tried 2 other sets of speakers with the same result. I am not sure what is up as this is the first time I have had this type of issue. Please hekp. Volume is up, no MUTE and the Balance and FAde are at 0

Please check the list:

Yellow Wire: +12 Volts continuous
Red Wire: +12 Volts Ignition Switch
Black Wire: Goes to Negative/Ground
Blue Wire: To Positive Antenna Motor

Purple/Purple Black: Rear Right Speaker
Green/Green Black: Rear Left Speaker
Gray/Gray Black: Front  Right Speaker
White/White-Black: Front  Left Speaker

Make sure that all wires are new. I hope this helps!

trying to hook up radio in boat. old radio was am fm cassette. trying to hook up just two speakers. four speaker system but only has four wires. no matter how i hookup the volume does not come back on when you turn it off and back on. colors dont match the new ones on the Pyle radio I got. the boat is a 1997 Starcraft. any ideas. thanks for your help.

If you are only connecting 2 speakers. you can use the
Left Channel
Purple (+)
Purple Black (-)
Right Channel
Green (+)
Green Black (-)
For power
Yellow goes to a constant 12 volts
Red goes to accesory switched 12 volts
Black wire goes to Ground / Negative

where are the two screws that need to be removed to release the CD player? I can't find it on the radio.
