    • Installing in 36V ezgo golf cart. Got 12v to unit via yellow and black wire but unit will not turn on. Any advice?

      Black wire is to Ground
      YELLOW wire is to constant +12V
      RED to a switched +12V

      any marine amplifier will work with this radio

      The blue wire is a 12V trigger for a motorized antenna/ 12V trigger for an external power amplifier

    • The backlight is not working. It’s hard to see the read out

      For head units, you can use a standard 14 AWG wire.

    • So I’m not understanding the red vs yellow wire…do I need to wire them both? I’m setting it up on a 83 Honda Goldwing, and I understand the yellow is from the battery but does the red need to be wired? I’m only intending on using the stereo while the bike is on and riding so do I need to have some kind of switched thing, and if so what would it be wired to? Sorry…just trying to be clear

      RED is ACC 12V

      Yellow Is Constant 12V supplies the system memory

      Yes both needs to be wired correctly
