Can I swim laps and can this product work with my iPhone??

It is not intended for swimming
Dear Sirs, I'm writing you from Italy, but I'll be visiting USA in september (Austin TX), in a defined time slot. Is there a way for me to order this product, being ensured that I can have it at the hotel or at a Locker somewhere, in the specific period?
